A Bath Time Sequence...

Bath time has not always been one of Mason's favorite activities.  In fact, prior to him turning four weeks old, it was something I dreaded.  But in reality, I think the bath water was probably too chilly, and he was not comfortable in his bathtub.  So I started bathing him in our sink with a towel beneath his behind, and wah-lah!  He was THRILLED!  So now my little munchkin LOVES his bath time.  He just talks and smiles and grins from ear to ear the entire time he's in. Here he is just loving that warm water....
And here are his little toes just peeking out of the water...
Getting that head scrubbed clean...
Happy as a clam!...
Scared to get water in his eyes-he is so stinkin expressive already!
Having a conversation with Daddy...
Asking if it's really time to get out already...
Thrilled because Daddy's not making him get out just yet...
So calm and peaceful...
Getting his toes scrubbed...
Gotta get that belly clean!
Now the part I dread is getting him out.  It goes something like this...Mason grinning from ear to ear...wrap him in a warm towel...
lay him down and dry him off...
put on diaper...(this is where he starts to get ticked off)...break out the lotion...(he literally sees it and starts crying)...
lotion his legs....he starts whimpering...lotion his belly...he's crying now...lotion his arms...he's hysterical.
Pick him up and cuddle him tight...
Give him is pacifier...
Mason calms down and is happy again....  And it goes like that with every bath.  Does anyone have tips on how to make this process a little more smooth?  For now I am just going to relish in the fact that he does enjoy bath time, and for that reason, I can put up with his minor hysterics at the end of a wonderful bath! :) I sure do love this little man more than I could ever describe!!

So it's time to actually commit to this thing!

Well I will start by saying I should have never started a
blog in the middle of PA school.  I had ZERO free time from all of my studying, on top of getting married, moving three times, and having a baby!  But now things have kind of slowed down and I feel like my little guy is growing like a weed, so I want to get this all down so I don't forget a moment of his precious little life. :)
So to start...I am proud to announce our newest little bundle of JOY... Mason Eli Morrow.  He was born November 5, 2009 at 1:08pm and weighed in at 7
lbs 15oz.  The details of my labor I will spare you, but know that I'm sure it would've been wonderful had my epidural worked...(two of them failed).  Mason is now just over two months old and is just impossible to not adore (but I am biased).  So without further adieu, here is the newest member of the Morrow family:

However you are probably thinking he should not look like that anymore, and he doesnt. :)  So here is the latest picture of little man:
So that is to get you up to speed on the biggest news for us and I promise to udpate more of our happenings later. :)
